Hidden features in the new iphone update

It's an involved process that involves wiping your phone, installing Apple Configurator, a free tool usually used by system administrators, and removing specific modules. But it might be worth it to clear your phone of your junk Apple folder forever. It also enhances car play for those of us who have the feature built into our cars, and improves the health app.
1) 9.3 adds the ability to hide applications on the home screen based on the bundle ID. Create a  profile in Apple  2.2 Beta with a restrictions payload set to Do not allow some apps under "Restrict App Usage" in the Apps section of the Restrictions. Add the bundle IDs like apple tips.com, apple stocks.com, then plug in your device and apply the profile. The icons will disappear from the home screen.

2)Night shift is one of the most discussed items of the apple 9.3 feature set. The option is
embedded within the settings app and provides a shift and screen temperature depending
on your location and time delay at said location. Or as apple puts it, "Night shift uses your
ios  clock and geo location to determine when it was sunset in your location. Then it
automatically shifts the colors in your display to the  end of the spectrum, making it
 easier on your eyes."

3) There are some people who found the addition of password protected Notes feature to be stupid. But, I think the exact opposite. iOS 9 completely remodeled the notes app and made it more powerful I use the app all the time for work. Sometimes I am just writing down a grocery lists, other times I am taking  notes from an important meeting and including documents and other potentially sensitive material. So, in  9.3 you can now password and Touch-ID protect your Notes from prying eyes. Head over to Settings Notes, Password Protection. Enter  a password and enable Touch ID.
